Dozi as he expressed himself on the program Carte Blanche broadcast on 26 February 2006:

"A lawyer has got a job, a doctor has got a job. This is my job - it's not my hobby. And I mean this is my income, this is my policy for when I'm an old man one day. And for me, I feel they steal; it's not piracy. Really, it's like somebody stealing from me. It's like getting to a guy's safe and stealing all his money. If we don't stop it, the Afrikaans music industry is going to fall apart."

"You know, you go to bed in the evening and you're proud of what you've done in the day. You think, 'I've done this and I've written this beautiful song', and I mean this means nothing for you if you don't sell it, if people steal it from you."

Message of Gerrie Pretorius as he expressed himself on the program DKNT broadcast on 25 February 2006:

Carike Keuzenkamp had this to say about the pamphlet "Young people, music and the internet" launched by Childnet International and RiSA: "Ons kinders leef in 'n wêreld vol gevare en ek ondersteun aksies wat daarop gemik is om kinders te waarsku teen die misbruik van die internet"
